Our Western saddles are truly customizable so that you can create that one of a kind look you are after. Most of our choices you will find do not increase the cost and if your choice does it is very minimal. If you have shopped our online store and see a saddle you are interested in but it does not list these choices after it, just send Sugar River Saddles an email with the saddle you have interest in and we will quickly get all your choices on that saddle entered.

Features Available with Our Customized Western Saddles

**Here is a sample of the selection available with each custom saddle:**
Custom Tree Fitting –	We recommend this with each of our saddles. You know and we know you’ll have the best fit possible for your horse
Saddle Types –	Once our custom tree fitting is done this will determine which saddle will fit your horse. (for example: a gaited horse will not fit into a Wade tree).
Many Tooling Choices –	We give you a wide selection of tooling choices. The saddle shown might have barbwire border tooling and you want something different, no problem and no extra charge.
Leather Types –	We offer two leather types, regular leather and premium leather which is soft, supple and already broke in. Both leathers are quality harness leather, American grown, tanned and processed.
Leather Colors -	We give you many color selections for all harness leather.
Seat Leather Types -	Some want slick seat some want rough seat, no matter what you see in the picture you get your choice.
Seat Colors -	Slick or Suede seats come in a variety of colors that you choose.
Fender Length -	We can build your saddle with extra long fenders or extra short, if your legs are really long or really short we have the solution to get you comfortable.
Saddle Skirt Type -	You might find a saddle you like but know your horse has a short back and needs a rounded skirt rather than the square skirt shown, no problem, we can change any skirt to rounded or square.
Stirrup Types -	Bells, leather laced, tapadorros and more
Breast Collar Rings -	Pull collar or rings, it’s your choice. If the saddle shows breast collar rings and you don’t want them you receive a credit.
Crupper Rigging -	We rig your saddle for a crupper if desired with one two or three rings
Britchen Rigging -	Need britchen rigging? No problem, we can rig any of our saddles for a britchen and also make the britchen to match with our matching tack.
Strings -	Place single latigo strings, double stings, double in front, double in rear, put your ties where you want and where you will use them most.
String Attachment -	Attach strings with rings, silver conchos, leather conchos, your choice!
Pommel Rings -	Put rings where you want and as many as you want.
Cantle Types -	This really gets you the look you are after, Cheyenne roll or Pencil roll cantle, your choice.
Montana Silver -	Add Montana Silver where you want it and as much as you want. We can do silver lace as well. Contact customer service for prices.
Extra Oiled Leather -	You can order your saddle with infused oil, this will make the leather a slight bit darker than our samples but will speed up your break in process.
Cinch Rigging -	Single rigging where you specify or 3 way rigging for more versatility.
Rear Cinch Type -	In ring or slot type, it’s your choice.
Latigo and Billet -	Leather or Nylon, it’s your choice
Rawhide Accents -	Order your saddle with rawhide Pommel, Cheyenne roll, Pencil roll or
Scalloped Rawhide -	Add a scalloped inlay with rawhide, a great look for your show saddle, with the right silver really adds the “Bling”!
